Work Schedule:   Full time

40 hours per week, evening and weekend work may be required

Compensation:    $19-25 per hour, plus benefits

Project Management:

  1. Serve as the primary project manager of all YNDC and client properties undergoing construction or maintenance, including new construction, housing rehabilitation in process, office facilities, rentals, and vacant homes being held for future redevelopment.
  2. Oversee completion of all routine development and maintenance activities associated with each property.
  3. Oversee security of all properties during the rehabilitation process.
  4. Develop specifications and project timelines for all construction projects.
  5. Effectively communicate specifications and project timelines to YNDC Construction Team Members, Construction Project Assistant, and all sub-contractors, coordinate scheduling, and oversee project progress.
  6. Communicate daily with program staff and sub-contractors to ensure good project coordination and resolve project difficulties early.
  7. Inspect sub-contractor and construction team work for quality and completion and clearly communicate results.
  8. Complete detailed annual inspections of all YNDC facilities and rental properties.
  9. On site labor will be required at varying times. This includes managing and working alongside clean out and construction teams.


  1. Report regularly and maintain clear communication with the Housing Director.
  2. Follow project management protocols and keep all required project records updated and in good order.


  1. Five plus years of increasingly responsible experience in construction management, full rehabilitation preferred.
  2. High level of organization and detail.
  3. High level of professional ethics.
  4. Clear and direct written/oral communication and ability to utilize new technologies for communication.
  5. Ability to manage and supervise multiple construction team members and subcontractors.
  6. Ability to follow systems, processes, and protocols to EXACT specifications.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects/workloads simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
  8. Ability to proactively solve problems with sound judgment and intuition.
  9. Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  10. Ability to use Google functions, specifically Gmail and the Gmail calendar.
  11. Ability to work independently of and in collaboration with other staff of the organization.
  12. Ability to obtain EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) certification.
