Petroleum refinery, based in Newell, WV, seeks the following position. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license and be legally able to work in the United States. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Instrument/Electrical Trainee

Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience with electrical installation, maintenance and repair of single and phase 3 electrical systems and equipment. Candidates should also have experience with installing, maintaining, modifying troubleshooting and repairing all types of electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment in compliance with current National Electrical Code and with utilizing drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Experience with microprocessor controllers, analyzers. programmable logic controllers, combustion controllers, inspecting and testing electrical systems including transformers, transfer switches, motors and switchgears and other related equipment is preferred. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs is beneficial. Computer proficiency is required.
